Key Responsibilities

  • •Show compliance of commercial seats with federal and industry standards to support seat modification implementation on aircraft.
  • •Work within a cross-functional team across engineering, certification, and program management in a fast-paced environment.
  • •Conduct testing, analysis, and design reviews to demonstrate compliance with structural and occupant injury requirements (14 CFR 25.853, 14 CFR 25.869, Heat Release SCs).
  • •Generate and check compliance plans and documents to support TSO, PMA, and STC approvals as an ODA unit member.
  • •Participate in training, and collaborate across the organization to advance team values and vision.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in a STEM discipline and minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
  • •Bachelor’s degree focused in mechanical, aeronautical civil, chemical, textile, or other relevant engineering disciplines.
  • •U.S. citizenship is required for program/contract access.
  • •Previous work experience on cross-functional teams.
  • •Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
