Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement the project execution strategy.
  • •Ensure overall project scope of services and scope of work is performed in a safe, cost-effective and timely manner that meets and/or exceeds client expectations.
  • •Provide leadership to the project team on HSSE matters and ensure that all employees and contractors carry out their duties and responsibilities as defined in the project HSSE execution plan.
  • •Monitor and review all project delivery components including administration, document control, project control, staff planning, engineering, supply chain management, construction, and pre-commissioning.
  • •Oversee the development of all project budgets, schedules and progress reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
  • •10+ years of relevant experience in a Mining EPCM Engineering environment, mining construction and/or mining operations.
  • •Minimum of 5 years as a Project Manager on large mining projects ($100 Mn - $1 Bn) in lithium, gold, copper and other precious metals.
  • •Mining project experience is essential; construction execution experience is essential.
  • •Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, for varying durations and at times to remote locations; Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required.
