Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide fleet technical management, continuing airworthiness management, and technical support for Cabin Upgrades and Reconfigurations (Inflight Entertainment and Connectivity).
  • •Routinely evaluate manufacturer/regulatory technical documents and update internal engineering documents (including Engineering Order and Special Engineering Workcard).
  • •Review in-service data (e.g., tech logs, pilot reports, defects) and implement actions to improve fleet and system reliability/maintainability.
  • •Act as a technical liaison with manufacturers and internal stakeholders to address significant faults, defects, design issues, and quality escapements.
  • •Support major modifications/retrofits/cabin reconfigurations, including technical assistance for disruptions (e.g., technical/AOG troubleshooting) and preparation of cost-benefit or budget requirements for approvals.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Aeronautical/Avionics/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence for 5 years.
  • •More than 7 years of engineering, Aeronautical experience.
  • •Minimum 5 years in a Technical Services function, including at least 3 years pertaining to Emirates fleet type/aircraft systems.
  • •Knowledge of latest technical developments and industry trends on relevant systems.
  • •Ability to analyze and synthesize technical information, draft and write reports, and manage complex decisions in a fast-paced environment.
