Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain distributed systems and services that power core banking/finance products.
  • •Collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to ship features rapidly while maintaining quality and reliability.
  • •Advocate for and implement test-driven (or behaviour-driven) development practices across the team.
  • •Participate in architecture and design discussions; own the operational aspects of services (monitoring, reliability, incident response).
  • •Partner with stakeholders to ensure engineering work aligns with business objectives and customer impact.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience building distributed systems at scale and owning services end-to-end.
  • •Comfort with a modern tech stack including Kotlin, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS Aurora Postgres.
  • •Proven track record of test-driven development (TDD) and/or behaviour-driven development (BDD).
  • •Strong collaboration with stakeholders and ability to navigate a fast-changing environment.
  • •Product-focused engineering mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
