Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and operate equipment to temper, anneal, or heat-treat aluminum.
  • •Maintain scrap and tub inventory levels; build scrap loads daily and turn in before cutting off time.
  • •Measure cold band coils using SWI methods and monitor incoming cold band schedules for receiving.
  • •Use escalation procedures in shipping, receiving, and utilities; perform receiving checklist verification per shift.
  • •Repair, replace, and maintain equipment using hand tools and uphold 5S standards in flow areas.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma required.
  • •Ability to perform manual work in an environment with temperatures up to 110 degrees.
  • •Ability to bend at the back & knees.
  • •Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • •Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift.
