Key Requirements

  • •Maintain, diagnose, and repair diesel trucks, trailers, and live production equipment with supervision, including routine maintenance tasks.
  • •6 months of Diesel Mechanic experience or be a graduate of a Diesel Mechanic Training Program, with experience documented on the application or resume.
  • •Must be able to maintain support equipment and perform tasks such as changing tires and assisting with installing new and rebuilt parts.
  • •Must meet DOT and Tyson Fleet Safety Driver Qualifications to be approved to drive Tyson fleet vehicles.
  • •Basic tools, basic computer skills for data input, and ability to understand written/verbal instructions, shop manuals, and other written documents.
