Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the most complex applications and integrations across HRSD, ITSM, and connected systems; set scoped-app architecture and team coding standards.
  • •Design and build complex server-side and client-side logic in ServiceNow, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer actions, and IntegrationHub; architect REST/SOAP integrations.
  • •Drive platform architecture across subdomains, influencing resiliency, observability, and testability as first-order concerns.
  • •Design and own MCP servers and connectors to expose ServiceNow capabilities to AI agents and internal tooling.
  • •Own testing, root cause analysis, and operational runbooks/metrics to prevent recurring production issues; coordinate delivery and mentor engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •5-8+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years on the ServiceNow platform.
  • •Ownership of platform architecture, including scoped apps vs. global scope, ACLs, table hierarchy, GlideRecord, and scalable integration patterns.
  • •Expert-level JavaScript (ES6+) and server-side ServiceNow scripting.
  • •Experience building production-quality Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Now Assist.
  • •ServiceNow CSA required; CAD and CIS preferred.
