Key Responsibilities

  • •Install all electrical infrastructure required to support heat pump systems on every job.
  • •Perform load calculations and design NEC-compliant solutions; upgrade main electrical panels as needed (smart panels, splitters, sub-panels).
  • •Pull permits and own the inspection process end-to-end across GA jurisdictions.
  • •Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams; troubleshoot on-site and perform necessary repairs.
  • •Test electrical systems for functionality, performance, and code compliance; maintain preventive maintenance and improve the install process.

Key Requirements

  • •Master Electrician license with the ability to pull permits across Tennessee jurisdictions.
  • •Deep residential install experience, including service upgrades, panel work, and large load additions (heat pumps, EV chargers, etc.).
  • •Fluency with modern panel technology including smart panels (Span, Leviton, Schneider) and splitters/sub-panel configurations.
  • •Ability to perform accurate load calculations using standard and optional methods.
  • •Comfort working in older homes and troubleshooting electrical issues methodically; valid driver’s license and OSHA Electrical/LOTO compliance.
