Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess and monitor credit risk across a portfolio of large exposures by region, industry, and business line.
  • •Conduct fundamental credit analysis, including review of business and financial statements, key credit metrics/ratios, industry/country risk, and rating model outputs.
  • •Underwrite larger credit programs for commercial services, including evaluating credit appropriateness, profitability, and program structures.
  • •Provide secondary review for smaller exposures and provide guidance and mentoring to CRU Analysts.
  • •Stay up to date on corporate development and market sentiment and communicate credit outlooks to internal stakeholders confidently.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 3-5 years of experience conducting credit analysis at a leading financial institution or rating agency.
  • •Experience in commercial credit assessment and/or underwriting, including making decisions on short-term credit lines and structuring facilities with appropriate risk mitigation.
  • •Strong knowledge of analyzing credit model outputs and identifying rationales for deviations.
  • •Ability to understand macroeconomic trends and recommend improvements to PD estimation based on the business cycle.
  • •Fluency in French or German is strongly preferred.
