Job Summary

Design, develop, integrate, and test complex multi-platform training system software on cross-functional agile teams. Serve as a technical focal for implementation and user interfaces for realistic simulators used for military and commercial aviation training. Perform multi-threaded debugging, decompose features, and influence cost/schedule/technical performance, working independently with limited supervision. Support feature analysis, requirements capture, and conduct bidding/proposal work, with domestic and international travel for training events and installations.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, integrate, and test software on cross-functional agile teams within budget, scope, and schedule constraints.
•Act as a technical focal with ownership and accountability for committed objectives.
•Assist in analysis and decomposition of features, and influence decisions affecting cost, schedule, and technical performance.
•Perform multi-threaded software debugging and work independently with limited supervision.
•Support bidding and proposal activities and contribute to software and systems engineering requirements capture and analysis, with travel to customer sites for training events and product installations.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree with minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
•Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date.
•Extensive experience working with C++.
•Experience with agile development practices and general software engineering design principles.
•Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related advanced degree in a related field.
