Key Responsibilities

•Maintain and install fiber optic cables, perform splicing and testing across multiple program networks.
•Provide hands-on technical support for routers, switches, servers, and firewalls in data center and office environments.
•Conduct network troubleshooting and fault analysis, perform hardware troubleshooting and repair.
•Develop and follow a Method of Procedure (MOP) and anticipate problems, taking proactive corrective actions.
•Generate and manage trouble tickets, interfacing with customers and handling escalations.

Key Requirements

•Must be willing to work Shift work 24x7 coverage, weekends, holidays and on-call rotation.
•Must be familiar with Juniper (JunOS), Netscreen Firewalls, SolarWinds, Cisco Networking Hardware.
•Must have experience with application-level firewalls (proxies).
•Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with the ability to obtain Top-Secret SCI (TS SCI).
•Associates degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in the communications, networking or cybersecurity fields.
