Lead xAI’s data center and infrastructure construction program portfolio, overseeing multiple Construction Project Managers to deliver mission-critical facilities on aggressive timelines. Partner across field execution, engineering, design, commissioning, operations, and executives to align program deliverables with AI compute needs and the infrastructure roadmap. Manage budgets, schedules, resources, and risks; drive best practices and KPIs; and ensure safety, quality, and compliance while serving as a senior owner’s representative.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide strategic leadership and direct management to a team of Construction Project Managers.
•Oversee end-to-end execution of multiple data center construction programs from pre-construction through handover.
•Collaborate across engineering, design, commissioning, operations, and executives to align deliverables with infrastructure roadmap and AI compute requirements.
•Manage program budgets, master schedules, forecasts, and contingency plans to deliver on time and on budget.
•Serve as a senior owner’s representative, managing relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and permitting authorities while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
•10+ years of construction project/program management experience, focused on data centers, hyperscale facilities, mission-critical infrastructure, or large industrial projects.
•5+ years of direct people management experience leading teams of Project Managers, Superintendents, or similar roles.
•Proven track record delivering complex programs on aggressive schedules and within budget in fast-paced environments.
•Strong technical knowledge across civil/site, structural, MEP, controls, and commissioning, with ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
