Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist cooks in daily food production, following standard recipes, correct portioning, and recipe adherence.
  • •Follow food safety rules for safe production and storage, and coordinate the store’s food safety area.
  • •Implement and follow IKEA Food Safety programs, stay updated on food safety legislation, and support incident reporting and emergency procedures.
  • •Serve guests with empathy and care, gather guest feedback daily, and act as an IKEA ambassador in guest interactions.
  • •Maintain clean work stations, ensure correct equipment use and report breakdowns to the Chef, and support training sessions as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 2 years of experience in a service environment, ideally in sales or hospitality.
  • •Secondary education degree.
  • •Interest and knowledge in the culinary or food service industry.
  • •Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced retail environment.
