Job Summary

Design, implement, test, and debug integrated embedded real-time software for heterogeneous firmware/hardware systems. Work in cross-discipline teams to refine product concepts, improve testability and measurable quality, and contribute to proposals and design reviews. Mentor less experienced staff and apply advanced embedded software engineering practices using C++, Linux, and real-time OS environments. Onsite role supporting defense and security solutions in McKinney/Plano.

Key Responsibilities

•Architect, design, implement, test, and debug integrated embedded real-time software within heterogeneous firmware/hardware systems.
•Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to define and refine product concepts, implementation, testability, and measurable quality.
•Teach, coach, and mentor less experienced staff.
•Contribute to proposals and preliminary/critical design reviews.
•Support onsite engineering work in the McKinney or Plano area and may perform occasional business-related travel.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years of relevant experience and a STEM degree.
•Experience developing, testing, and integrating real-time software applications in C++ (or closely related languages).
•Development experience on Linux, VxWorks, or other real-time operating systems.
•Experience integrating hardware, firmware, and software in complex systems.
•Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
