Job Summary

Design, build, and maintain scalable software applications for PayPal’s global payments platform. •Design and build software applications and web experiences following accessibility, internationalization, and TDD best practices.
•Participate in the full development life cycle from design and coding through testing and production release.
•Develop robust, scalable software systems including distributed systems with high performance, scalability, and availability.
•Implement automated unit, functional, and integration tests and define processes/tools/methodologies for software excellence in testing and deployment.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, rapidly prototype iteratively, and debug complex applications.

Salary: USD 163,550 - 221,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science/Engineering (or related) plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
•Experience developing object-oriented software in Java (2 years) and building high-performance, scalable software platforms (2 years).
•Experience building scalable, production-grade API platforms and working with RESTful APIs (2 years each).
•Experience with client-side web technologies including React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS (1 year).
•Experience with AWS services including IAM, SQS, and S3 (1 year) plus automated unit, functional, and integration testing and CI/CD.
