Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, develop, and analyze security measures to protect critical information from counter-threats and attacks.
  • •Maintain operational security posture for assigned information systems and oversee security configuration, practices, and procedures.
  • •Monitor and review user access logs, produce user usage reports, and support security monitoring and evaluation.
  • •Research and implement methods to improve digital security, eliminate vulnerabilities, and coordinate vulnerability risk mitigations.
  • •Audit operations for compliance with government regulations, manage security planning/documentation (e.g., SSP/ATO), and support security incident reporting and response (e.g., POA&Ms).

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or related field (or 10+ years supporting IT systems security operations).
  • •8+ years’ experience as an ISSO, information security, or cybersecurity role supporting unclassified and/or classified systems.
  • •Experience implementing NIST and/or DoD cybersecurity policy and guidelines.
  • •Experience completing the Authority to Operate (ATO) process and using eMASS for cybersecurity management and accreditation.
