Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide senior electrical engineering design and technical advice within an MEP discipline team and lead larger-scale electrical engineering projects.
  • •Develop construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and basis of design, coordinating with owners, other disciplines, sub-consultants, and clients.
  • •Deliver design projects through design-bid-build, Design-Build, or Alternative Delivery frameworks from inception through completion, including new and renovation work.
  • •Coordinate with government, disciplines, sub-consultants, and vendors for design and construction oversight; assist with engineering review of permit applications and design plans/specifications.
  • •Supervise electrical staff and mentor engineers and designers; travel to project sites and related facilities as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university, or equivalent.
  • •10+ years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer providing design deliverables for capital projects.
  • •Professional Engineering registration.
  • •3+ years of experience in Alternative Delivery projects.
  • •Expert knowledge of NFPA codes including NFPA 70, NFPA 101, and NFPA 780, plus Revit and AutoCAD proficiency.
