Key Responsibilities

  • •Construct prototypes based on technical specifications, patterns, and alternative construction methods with cross-functional teams.
  • •Determine optimal fabrics, trims, and sewing techniques for high-performance apparel.
  • •Proactively identify and resolve construction challenges during sample development.
  • •Support prototype-to-production transitions while maintaining premium sample execution.
  • •Ensure samples meet strict quality standards for stitching, durability, and finish, and maintain an organized workspace.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years’ experience as a Sample Maker/Sample Sewer (or similar) in apparel manufacturing, including factory, sample room, or tailoring shop work.
  • •Advanced sewing experience with athletic and ready-to-wear garments, covering stretch and non-stretch textiles.
  • •Strong understanding of garment construction and the ability to interpret patterns.
  • •Proficiency using industrial sewing machines (e.g., single-needle, overlock, coverstitch).
  • •Ability to read and follow patterns, spec sheets, and technical sketches; strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
