Key Responsibilities

  • •Support a large engineering organization by managing configuration management for complex multi-sited code and test bases.
  • •Administer SCM processes and tools (e.g., Perforce/git/Mercurial/CVS/RCS/ClearCase) in a build/test environment.
  • •Build and maintain build/test infrastructure spanning thousands of lines of infrastructure code across thousands of machines and millions of tests.
  • •Develop and apply expert-level scripting for build tools and SCM workflows.
  • •Collaborate with teams to address operational requests and improve processes for large-scale verification and reliability.

Key Requirements

  • •Working experience in configuration management for large projects with big code and test bases, multi-sited environments, and hundreds of users.
  • •Administrative exposure to one or more SCM tools such as Perforce, git, Mercurial, CVS, RCS, or ClearCase.
  • •Expertise in build tools and SCM processes, with scripting skills at an expert level.
  • •UNIX expertise (as a user and preferably as an admin), including use of Shells, Python, or Perl.
  • •BTech/M. Tech/MCA in Computer Science or IT.
