Key Responsibilities

  • •Handle, from inception to conclusion, the most serious and complex E&S claims; settle or dispose of significant-value claims.
  • •Identify and manage reserves in compliance with company standards and recommend special reserves as needed.
  • •Provide litigation strategies and consultation with defense counsel; monitor litigation trends and ensure consistent claim handling.
  • •Build and maintain relationships with agents, brokers, and product developers; support business plans to improve claims quality results.
  • •Act as top-level subject matter expert for specialty lines: provide training plans and consultation across the division, and may manage contributing staff performance and development.
