Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive product for pressing, stack and place on pallets, and print pallet labels using job docket information.
  • •Ensure correct product loading onto pallets/material handling, including robot setup/troubleshooting if applicable.
  • •Review completed jobs for quality and accuracy, pull samples per procedure, and notify operators of problems/errors.
  • •Perform downtime and cleaning duties, including webbing the press, assisting operators when the press is down, and press-area cleanup.
  • •Handle make-ready/setup/breakdown tasks such as doctor blade setup/removal, cylinders/carriages setup, impression roller or stacker changeovers, and roll stand operations (if applicable).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or GED) with one to three years of related production experience and/or training (or equivalent education and experience).
  • •Very good mechanical and physical ability to perform press room and related tasks.
  • •Lift truck operators must have and maintain safety training for company equipment.
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform prolonged standing, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and balancing.
  • •Ability to work rotating shifts and availability for overtime as needed to meet production needs.
