Key Responsibilities

  • •Own clinical requirements for detecting and mitigating patient risk across platform surfaces, driving one shared severity taxonomy and routing model.
  • •Serve as the Clinical Product Patient Safety partner for features that may involve risk disclosure, defining safeguards and integrating into escalation structures.
  • •Audit product surfaces to identify patient safety gaps and collaborate to close them within the clinical team and cross-functional partners.
  • •Carry the clinical safety and quality bar for AI surfaces (e.g., AI-generated clinical notes, treatment planning, conversational tools), writing rubrics and auditing model output.
  • •Resolve risk-ownership questions and ensure policies and the platform accurately reflect them while clearly communicating clinical tradeoffs to non-clinical stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Independently Licensed Therapist (LPC, LCSW, PhD, or PsyD) with 3+ years of post-graduate clinical experience.
  • •Confidence in risk assessment, safety planning, and crisis response, with experience working inside a safety or quality system.
  • •Strong systems thinking to unify disconnected escalation paths into a single underlying model.
  • •Comfort working quickly and cross-functionally with engineers, product, and operations while translating clinical risk into actionable feedback.
  • •A working understanding of AI model evaluation (e.g., precision, recall, and false positive rates) and how metrics map to clinical consequences.
