Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform maintenance functions to maintain operating and service equipment using standard and specialized tools and equipment, including mobile equipment.
  • •Operate equipment in conjunction with repairs and support operating functions to maintain continuity of operations.
  • •Maintain various types of machinery in the coke making process and coordinate with operating team members on maintenance tasks.
  • •Participate in safety activities to meet or exceed organizational goals and expectations, including following all rules, policies, or expectations.
  • •Ensure environmental compliance and perform other related duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •Valid driver’s license.
  • •3 years of heavy industrial experience, including calibrating, programming, installing, and troubleshooting smart process instrumentation (e.g., temperature, pressure, level transmitters) and control valves.
  • •Experience with process control loops and loop tuning using Distribution Control Systems (DCS).
  • •Experience with PLC, hydraulic controls, and process analyzers (e.g., opacity, oxygen, combustibles, process gas, chemical analysis), with strong safety experience.
