Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV/projection equipment, microphones, and related devices for banquet/meeting rooms.
  • •Maintain and service AV equipment, including banqueting hall audio-video systems and hotel guest room TV/transmission systems, ensuring readiness at all times.
  • •Document technical issues in the incident management system and report unusual occurrences to the Shift Engineer.
  • •Verify equipment availability in inventory before events, and ensure equipment/tools are deployed according to specifications; prepare systems in advance and return them to storage properly.
  • •Ensure electronics-related equipment areas and electrical rooms/control rooms are kept clean and orderly, and maintain hotel house audio systems while assisting guests with proper usage.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Audio Visual Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience as an Audio Visual Technician, preferably in a hotel, resort, or convention center.
  • •Strong knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and presentation systems, including microphones, speakers, mixers, projectors, LED displays, and video conferencing equipment.
  • •Experience with installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of AV equipment.
  • •Ability to diagnose technical issues quickly and provide effective solutions under pressure.
