Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
  • •Serve as the main technical resource on sales calls, educating customers on features, specifications, functionality, and integrations.
  • •Act as the lead technical contact for identified accounts post-sales, working with technical support and engineering to elevate and resolve issues.
  • •Provide post-sales training assistance for identified customers and support training Fortinet Channel partners in your region.
  • •Present at events, seminars, and customer/partner meetings, with travel primarily within your designated region.

Key Requirements

  • •3–8 years of experience in technical pre-sales support as a pre-sales or security expert.
  • •Experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration and designing network/security solutions.
  • •Ability to use Visio to create solution diagrams and create BOMs (Bill of Materials).
  • •Knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, LAN/WAN, network security, stateful firewalling, NGFW, NAT, IPS, anti-malware, DDoS protection, web filtering, SDN, and NFV.
  • •Strong understanding of TCP/IP with IPv4/IPv6 and security/authentication concepts (e.g., RADIUS, LDAP, Active Directory, PKI/certificates, IPsec, SSL VPN).
