Key Responsibilities

•Review samples, drawings, or instructions to understand specifications and plan the sequence of actions.
•Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping; select appropriate machines to complete jobs.
•Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages; install, maintain, repair, and replace industrial machinery and tools.
•Execute uptime and downtime preventative maintenance according to the master PM schedule.
•Follow safety practices and maintain accurate records while participating in daily scheduling meetings.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or GED.
•At least two years of machinist experience in a manufacturing, military, or other industrial environment.
•Vo-Tech or a 2-year associates degree in relevant studies.
•Ability to run CNC equipment, preferably MAZAK.
•Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals and use precision tools (e.g., calipers) for accurate measurements.
