Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate tax aspects of partnership agreements and manage clients’ IRC 704b accounts.
  • •Oversee primary and secondary reviews of complex tax returns and deliver tax consulting, planning, and compliance expertise.
  • •Plan, execute, direct, and complete tax projects across a range of industries while managing budget and client outcomes.
  • •Attract, mentor, and develop professionals, including staff performance assessment and year-end reviews.
  • •Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities and lead business development activities such as proposal development and pursuit.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • •CPA required.
  • •Minimum 10 years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or a combination of industry and public accounting experience.
  • •Experience with partnership structuring, entity formation, and mergers & acquisitions is preferred.
  • •Proficiency in US GAAP and partnership returns, including understanding of Sub-chapter K partnership taxation.
