Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a vertical end-to-end, including outcomes and metrics, and prioritize a backlog by value/risk/dependencies/strategic priority.
  • •Shape technical design with engineering on money-movement correctness, reliability, security, latency, scalability, and recovery.
  • •Make and defend trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX when pushed back by technical/compliance/ops leads.
  • •Treat regulated constraints as first-class product inputs (licensing scope, CDD/KYC, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, data residency/privacy) and manage launch gates.
  • •Define and apply AI responsibly by setting evaluation approaches, human-in-the-loop boundaries, and ensuring AI outputs trace back to real records; ship features behind flags and external partner/regulatory gates.

Key Requirements

  • •Own a complex technical product end-to-end with strong judgement under ambiguity and decisiveness.
  • •Strong system design foundation (boundaries, datastores, queues/workflows, APIs, failure modes, consistency under concurrency) and ability to challenge design docs.
  • •Experience in regulated/high-consequence domains such as payments, banking, remittance, or insurance (or fast-ramp ability).
  • •Hands-on LLM/product experience: define what the AI can decide, evaluation approach, and safe “human in the loop” behavior.
  • •Strong English communication and ability to hold their own with senior engineers.
