Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the production of track designs and provide technical support across the design process (feasibility to construction) for Plain Line and S&C.
  • •Independently deliver and manage design deliverables in accordance with client requirements, ensuring technical quality through checks of team outputs.
  • •Act as a senior technical advisor and mentor for lesser experienced team members; develop study and design procedures.
  • •Perform quality control reviews of design calculations, models, and drawings; prepare technical specification sections.
  • •Develop construction cost estimates and technical effort estimates; participate in design reviews, interdisciplinary design checks, and design and construction interface meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Master of Engineering degree or Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college/university; Washington Accord accredited preferred.
  • •Registered, Professional or Chartered Engineer, or eligible for qualification or working towards.
  • •15+ years of Track Design experience across greenfield and brownfield projects with substantial international project experience.
  • •Proficiency in Bentley ORD package and Autodesk Civil3D.
  • •Extensive technical proficiency in Plain Line and Switches & Crossings, including knowledge of standards, SiD/HSE regulations, and track construction methods.
