Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in providing an engaging, inclusive learning environment supporting children’s developmental and educational needs under the Class Teacher’s direction.
  • •Work with individual or small groups of children as directed by the Class Teacher and subject teachers.
  • •Enable groups of children to access the curriculum in the classroom and adjust strategy or approach as needed to facilitate learning.
  • •Support recording and presenting evidence of learning, follow programmes of work toward set targets, and prepare/store general resources.
  • •Support children’s well-being, communicate appropriately with parents, supervise during breaks, and accompany children on school trips when appropriate.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum High School education in English and Maths (degree preferred).
  • •Experience or aptitude for working with students; previous teaching assistant experience preferred.
  • •Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • •Enthusiasm and aptitude for working with students.
  • •Good team player with ability to use own initiative.
