Key Responsibilities

  • •Forecast and communicate engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers, including make-versus-buy input and supplier negotiations.
  • •Coordinate demand signals via MRP to minimize inventory exposure and manage materials change control and commercialization (transition) materials plans.
  • •Lead Materials Core Team deliverables through matrix management across buyers, planners, and production control.
  • •Monitor supplier performance (delivery, quality, cost), complete supplier risk assessments, and resolve supplier quality issues with escalation as needed.
  • •Generate and publish key process indicators, track total landed cost targets, and support sourcing/commodity roadmaps and should-cost/value analysis.
