Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a strategic legal partner for teams developing business products, enterprise features, and API offerings.
  • •Advise on product design and launches involving enterprise administration, data governance, identity and access, connectors and integrations, and agentic capabilities.
  • •Counsel teams on responsibly deploying frontier AI capabilities while balancing customer commitments, safety, security, and privacy.
  • •Support strategic partnerships and distribution arrangements including cloud platforms, resellers, and other third-party channels.
  • •Help identify emerging legal and policy issues across OpenAI’s B2B products and contribute to cross-functional strategies to address them.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience with a mix of in-house or technology-focused law firm roles.
  • •JD and license/qualification to practice in California.
