Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines, vertical turret lathes, or VTCs to perform routine production operations.
  • •Work from operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instruction to prepare equipment for grinding, turning, facing, boring, and chamfering operations.
  • •Verify finished work conforms to specifications using precision measuring instruments and obtain operator certification to accept/reject parts.
  • •Maintain machines by performing required total preventive maintenance (TPM).
  • •Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance, programmers, and other production personnel to resolve machining problems and support part process development.
