Job Summary

As a Security Managed Services Engineer (L2), you’ll keep clients’ security infrastructure running by monitoring, investigating, and resolving incidents and problems. Handle client requests and tickets within SLA, manage work queues, and document resolution actions. You’ll support change execution with proper approvals, assist L1 engineers with triage and troubleshooting, and collaborate with automation teams to automate routine tasks and improve ticket quality through trend analysis.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor, identify, investigate, and resolve technical incidents and problems, restoring service efficiently.
•Handle client requests or tickets with technical expertise and ensure resolution within agreed SLAs.
•Manage work queues and update tickets with resolution actions, logging incidents promptly when issues are identified.
•Execute changes responsibly, flag risks and mitigation plans, and ensure required approvals and compliance with procedures.
•Support initial client escalations by assisting L1 engineers with triage and troubleshooting, and contribute to trend analysis and automation opportunities.

Key Requirements

•Experience handling security infrastructure in managed services and working knowledge of ticketing tools (preferably ServiceNow).
•Proficiency with active listening techniques such as paraphrasing and probing for details.
•Excellent planning skills to anticipate and adjust to changing circumstances.
•Strong communication skills and ability to engage across different cultures and social groups.
•Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computing (or equivalent qualification) or relevant work experience.
