Job Summary

Execute technology operational risk testing within a centralized second-line independent testing function, partnering with Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Audit to assess processes and controls. Conduct end-to-end control testing across SDLC, cloud security (Azure/AWS), access control, data loss prevention, encryption/key management, network security, monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability/configuration management. Document risk and control matrices, influence remediation, and communicate results to management with escalations when needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Administer and execute testing activities within the Independent Risk Review Assessment (IRRA) function.
•Execute tests that confirm compliance with internal policies and applicable laws and regulations across technology and security areas.
•Conduct comprehensive reviews across SDLC, cloud platform security (Azure/AWS), authentication/access control, data loss prevention, endpoint security, and key/certificate management.
•Identify weaknesses in controls through end-to-end control testing, including planning, walkthroughs, sample selection, and evidence review.
•Prepare documentation (e.g., Risk & Control Matrices), collaborate on remediation solutions, and communicate testing results and escalations to management.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
•Typically, more than five years of applicable experience.
•Basic or intermediate knowledge of technology, systems, data governance, and cyber/information security risks and industry trends affecting bank operations.
•Basic or intermediate Risk, Compliance, and Audit competencies.
•Proficient computer navigation skills using software packages including Microsoft Office.
