Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and deliver secondary design documentation for HV substations, including protection & control schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, termination drawings, and panel layouts.
  • •Develop protection and control philosophies and contribute to Basis of Design documentation.
  • •Perform engineering design of AC/DC auxiliary systems, control circuits, interlocking, and automation interfaces.
  • •Support relay configuration and protection scheme design; provide protection philosophy and relay setting inputs.
  • •Coordinate and deliver engineering support across project phases (tender, design, construction, testing, commissioning), including FAT and site testing documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Electrical Engineer with 4+ years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Proven experience in secondary systems engineering for HV/EHV substations.
  • •Experience delivering secondary design packages for EPC / Design-Build substation projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of protection & control systems, substation secondary circuits, interlocking, AC/DC auxiliary systems, and relay protection logic.
  • •Ability to coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines; English (oral and written) is mandatory.
