Job Summary

Own the development and delivery of robust acoustics and vibration solutions across the full product development lifecycle. Define and manage acoustics requirements and validation strategies, using experimental and simulation-based approaches to diagnose issues and drive reliable, high-performance product delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into product designs, communicate findings through technical reviews, and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the development and delivery of acoustic and vibration performance throughout product development cycles.
•Define, capture, and manage acoustics requirements and validation strategies.
•Develop and implement experimental and/or simulation-based approaches (experimental testing, FEA/CFD, system modelling).
•Diagnose and resolve acoustic and vibration issues using signal analysis, noise source identification, and transfer path analysis.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate acoustic solutions and communicate findings through technical reviews; provide guidance to junior engineers.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics engineering or similar.
•Proven experience in product development with a strong analytical focus.
•Solid understanding of mechanical systems and failure analysis.
•Experience in signal processing and vibration analysis (FFT, FRF, spectrogram, waterfall, etc.)
•Experience with acoustics techniques such as TPA, ODS, noise localisation, and psychoacoustics is highly desirable.
