Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and operate extrusion machines, including barrel augur/extruder controls and monitoring process parameters.
  • •Perform extrusion line setup and die head changes; adjust line controls and check product dimensions/quality.
  • •Move/position rollers, rewind shafts, and cut devices as required; manage scrap recovery rolls or carts.
  • •Examine products for defects, perform quality testing, and maintain production records.
  • •Detect and report defective/contaminated materials or faulty equipment; assist with maintenance and preventative upkeep while keeping areas and equipment in good working order.
