Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate with technical focal points at regional and headquarters levels under the head of the WHO country office.
  • •Provide and mobilize technical advice for design, implementation, and evaluation of national health policies and health system strengthening toward UHC.
  • •Strengthen stakeholders’ capacity for health policy dialogue and reform implementation, including strategic intelligence on priority health system reform areas.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced master’s-level university degree in public health, health systems/services administration, health management, or a related field.
  • •Minimum of seven years of relevant experience in health-sector policy, strategy development, and planning, with some in an international work environment.
  • •Specific experience in health financing and policy analysis for universal health coverage.
  • •At least four years of experience in a governmental institution or international organization serving resource-limited or middle-income countries.
  • •Track record in consensus building and enlisting cooperation by diverse national stakeholders.
