Key Responsibilities

  • •Clean out and de-trash vehicle interiors, including ashtrays, console, dashboard, door panels, seats, trunk, and engine compartment.
  • •Remove license plates and stickers and remove writing from windows (except pertinent to Auction business), including disassembling spare tires.
  • •Wash vehicles using high-pressure washer or automatic car wash equipment and apply chemicals to power-wash the engine compartment and clean battery terminals.
  • •Detail vehicles by cleaning/dressing trim and surfaces, buffing with compound/cleaner/polish, and waxing/buffing exterior and painted surfaces.
  • •Vacuum and scrub/shampoo/spot clean carpets and upholstery, demonstrate safety commitment, and perform other assigned duties including occasional driving into clean car staging areas.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED preferred or less than 2 years of related work experience.
  • •Previous experience in a detail shop or buffing experience is helpful.
  • •Valid driver's license and safe driving ability required.
  • •Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
  • •Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks including standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, squatting, and climbing.
Education:High School in High school diploma/GED
