Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and gain endorsement for a multi-year total rewards strategy and roadmap, including governance, decision rights, and foundational architecture.
  • •Build the total rewards technology and data foundation and establish metrics (competitiveness, cost trend, utilization, pay equity, incentive leverage) reporting to CHRO and leadership.
  • •Own benefits design and financial management for self-funded health and welfare plans, including renewal/open enrollment, cost-containment approaches, and benefits governance/compliance.
  • •Lead enterprise compensation programs including career/job architecture, pay-for-performance design, annual compensation processes, and compliance/defensibility (including pay equity and classification).
  • •Oversee multi-state/cross-border payroll and total rewards operational excellence, lead a small team, and support M&A diligence/integration workstreams and executive compensation coordination.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • •7+ years progressive total rewards experience with 3–5+ years leading compensation and/or benefits functions or teams.
  • •Deep benefits design experience, including self-funded health and welfare plan design and financial management (modeling, contribution strategy, claims/utilization, renewal, and vendor management).
  • •Hands-on experience with defined contribution (401(k)) and defined benefit pension plans, including fiduciary governance, compliance testing, audits, filings, and actuarial coordination.
  • •Experience designing compensation programs and pay-for-performance/short-term incentive plans, plus knowledge of U.S. compensation/benefits regulation and Canadian benefits/payroll requirements.
