Job Summary

Lead product road mapping and new product development for the Electric Utility Distribution market. Own product strategy execution by translating requirements into launch plans and prototypes, scoping initiatives by business and customer impact, and partnering with sales, engineering, and operations to drive efficient time-to-market. Serve as a subject-matter expert across the Utility D portfolio, support pricing/positioning and go-to-market activities, and use market feedback to drive continuous product improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop deep understanding of customers and the competitive product market to identify product gaps and generate new opportunities that grow market share.
•Ensure projects align with product line strategy and messaging; translate product strategy into detailed requirements, launch plans, and prototypes.
•Lead product teams in development of new and enhanced products; scope and prioritize product activities based on business and customer impact.
•Work closely with sales, engineering, and operational teams to deliver efficient time-to-market and optimal resource utilization.
•Own and manage products within the Utility D portfolio, including pricing/positioning, go-to-market and marketing literature support, specification strategy, and market data analysis.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Sales, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or as a field engineer within the manufacturing industry.
•Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
•Excellent written and verbal communication, including presenting complex information clearly.
•Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure; travel up to 50% as needed.
