Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with safety policies and procedures using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • •Properly follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations and report problems to the appropriate leaders.
  • •Assist construction/paving crews with duties such as shoveling and raking, running a wheelbarrow, and safely backing/dumping trucks into a paver.
  • •Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and materials with shovel.
  • •Digs, spreads, and levels construction materials; lifts, carries, and holds materials, tools, and supplies; assists with placement and dismantling of signs and traffic control devices.

Key Requirements

  • •Assist construction/paving crew duties including shoveling and raking, running a wheelbarrow, and safely backing/dumping trucks into a paver.
  • •Previous related experience in the construction field.
  • •High school diploma or GED is preferred, and must be 18 years or older; must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
