Job Summary

Lead maintenance teams in the installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of critical equipment across the plant, facilities, utilities, and powerhouse. Partner with Production on maintenance planning and scheduling, develop maintenance systems (including TPM and SOPs), and troubleshoot equipment failures. Drive maintenance KPIs and reporting, ensure USDA-compliant maintenance documentation and inventory records, and provide coverage for key personnel when absent.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead teams of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians in predictive and preventative maintenance and machine repairs, including training and safety procedures.
•Plan and schedule maintenance with Production; develop and implement maintenance systems (prevention/predictive maintenance, TPM, SOPs, safety).
•Troubleshoot equipment failures and provide day-to-day support for problem analysis.
•Develop and maintain maintenance KPIs and provide regular status reports to maintenance management.
•Ensure maintenance tasks comply with USDA regulations and maintain accurate maintenance and inventory records, including continuity when key personnel are absent.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related) and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience.
•Experience acting as a lead by training, coaching, mentoring, or managing a process/project.
•Ability to lead problem solving and troubleshooting for high-level process issues.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office; may be required to work long hours and weekends.
