Job Summary

Manage safety and compliance programs across a defined geographic area, partnering with local managers and employees to promote safe working conditions. Monitor and improve safety performance through training, weekly safety meetings, vehicle and property inspections, jobsite hazard observations, and accident/loss investigations. Serve as a technical expert for safety, loss prevention, and risk management while ensuring adherence to OSHA, DOT, and EPA requirements, and produce yard audits and monthly status reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage safety and compliance programs in a defined geographic area.
•Plan and deliver safety training and coordinate weekly safety meetings.
•Identify hazards by observing vehicle conditions and driver behaviors and conducting jobsite visits using provided checklists/apps.
•Coordinate investigations of major accidents and losses and develop root-cause strategies.
•Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (including OSHA, DOT, and EPA) and complete yard audits, action tracking, and monthly reports.
