Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute Woods safety policies and procedures throughout project phases.
  • •Walk down mechanical systems using P&IDs, piping isometrics, and PFDs for mechanical completion.
  • •Follow commissioning procedures to dynamically test equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise.
  • •Write and manage accurate punch lists; maintain equipment records and parts inventory.
  • •Perform maintenance and repair work with limited supervision, remove components as needed for testing, and coordinate with vendors and departments.

Key Requirements

  • •Motivated self-starter with complex problem-solving ability.
  • •Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented personality to interface with Construction and Operations Teams.
  • •Detailed working knowledge of upstream/midstream oil and gas processing facilities and mechanical commissioning.
  • •Typically 5 years of responsible experience in mechanical commissioning of oil and gas facilities, or production process equipment operation and maintenance.
  • •Relevant Mechanical Technician certificates are required and/or a Higher National Certificate (or equivalent) in a primary Engineering discipline.
