Key Responsibilities

  • •Screen business unit transactions to ensure compliance with international trade rules, regulations, and Emerson policies.
  • •Support FTA qualification and solicitation and help ensure BU compliance with applicable Free Trade Agreement rules.
  • •Support the BU’s annual USMCA supplier solicitation.
  • •Determine product eligibility under US government-funded procurement laws (e.g., ARRA, Buy American Act, Buy America Acts).
  • •Provide tariff classification and analysis and prepare monthly broker scorecards for accredited brokers.
