Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and execute a comprehensive platform and infrastructure strategy aligned to business objectives, managing budgets and driving group-wide cost optimization with ROI to C-level executives.
  • •Champion a platform-as-a-product approach, delivering robust self-service capabilities and developer “golden paths” to reduce cognitive load and accelerate workflows.
  • •Lead, scale, and mentor a global engineering organization (50+ platform engineers) across major hubs, fostering accountability and continuous learning.
  • •Guide and coach engineering managers while aligning embedded platform teams across global subsidiaries to maintain unified engineering standards.
  • •Oversee the architecture, design, and reliable rollout of automated, secure multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and microservices tooling aligned with the tech radar.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of Software Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering, with at least 5+ years in web-scale platform engineering.
  • •Experience building and scaling a unified developer platform across highly complex, distributed organizations.
  • •Deep familiarity with cloud-native microservices, event-driven architectures, and containerization/observability frameworks.
  • •Strong technical proficiency in modern coding languages (such as Go) and AWS/GCP infrastructure ecosystems.
  • •5+ years in senior engineering leadership roles (Director level or above) with experience managing multiple teams and internal customers.
