Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide asset management support by planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources for maintenance activities.
  • •Support maintenance, installation, and modification of equipment in designated areas.
  • •Facilitate Work Management Processes in accordance with regulations and set procedures.
  • •Improve equipment availability and contribute to continuous system improvements and process efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •Grade 12 (20 points) with Mathematics, Science, and “E” in English.
  • •Valid trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic (pre-1993 Diesel Mechanic Trade Diploma with N2; 1992–1994 Level 4 Trade Diploma; or post-1994 Level 3 Trade certificate).
  • •Valid Code B/BE Driver’s license (Manual Transmission).
  • •Knowledge of Namibian Labour Law and ability to use MS-Office including MS Projects.
  • •Experience with SAP CMMS software (3–5 years) and planning preventative and corrective maintenance for mobile maintenance equipment (5–7 years), plus six (6) years post-apprenticeship artisan experience in mining equipment.
