Key Responsibilities

  • •Elicit requirements, analyze system/software requirements, and create architectural designs for an embedded automotive project.
  • •Develop, integrate, test, debug, and fix embedded software issues in a complex QNX/Linux, NVIDIA, and Automotive Ethernet environment.
  • •Configure QNX BSP and develop device drivers, working with build environments, kernel-level components, and low-level system functionality.
  • •Implement and integrate features including power & thermal management, startup sequence and performance, process/thread monitoring, diagnostics (UDS, DoIP, system logging), and time management.
  • •Track development activities and defects in Jira, produce technical documentation and change-management reporting, and collaborate in an Agile/SAFe environment.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related engineering field.
  • •Strong C/C++ development experience for embedded systems, with advanced Linux and/or QNX experience including BSP, kernel, and driver development.
  • •Strong automotive embedded software background, including Automotive Ethernet and communication protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SOME/IP, DoIP, and UDS.
  • •Experience with Classic and/or Adaptive AUTOSAR and debugging complex embedded systems using tools such as Lauterbach or iSystem.
  • •Knowledge of functional safety and cybersecurity standards (ISO 26262 & ISO/SAE 21434) and experience with automotive development processes such as Automotive SPICE (ASPICE).
